See, I have a good excuse for not updating my blog until now… everything I baked recently were Christmas presents! YAY!
My favorite Christmas present that I made was Chocolate Covered Pretzels. I didn’t really have a recipe… I just melted down milk and dark chocolate chips and dipped pretzels (and oreos!) in the melty chocolate wonderfulness. : ) I used a double boiler to keep the chocolate soft and prevent burning. Then, I found a set of chopsticks to retrieve my pretzels out of the chocolate.
Everything turned out perfectly. They cooled quickly, especially when I put my trays out on our chilly back porch. : )
And, please don’t ask me how many I ate during the process.
