This December has involved a great deal of baking, which as far as I’m concerned, is wonderful. : ) Over the past few weeks, I’ve baked:
- Lemon Spritz Cookies
So light and crispy! I just love these cookies.
- Chocolate Chip Cookies
These were… interesting, because we ran out of vanilla, so I used almond extract instead. I am not sure it was my favorite thing ever, but it worked.
- Sugar Cookies
We used a sour cream sugar cookie recipe and the cookies were just grand. They rolled out well, didn’t stick too much, and of course, were lots of fun.
- Gingerbread Cookies… but that is material for another post :D
It was so much fun! :D Overall, everything turned out great. I can’t wait to start baking my Christmas presents!
