Tawa: Tasty Indian Food

Last Tuesday was my mom’s birthday, so we all went out for dinner at Tawa, a local Indian restaurant. As soon as we walked in, we knew we were in for an amazing dinner. You could just smell the spices and everything in the air. After some deliberation, we ended up ordering a bunch of naan (bread), aloo gobi (potatoes and cauliflower), Tandoori chicken, vegetableĀ kabobs, biryani (fried rice), and chai tea. Mmmm. : ) OH! And how could I forget? Samosas. They are practically my favorite food in the entire world. That was happy.

Everything was delicious, especially the naan with onions inside and the chai tea we had for dessert. The only downside was how long it took for the food to arrive! So, my sister started doodling on her plate with the green and brown sauces the restaurant brought to our table. Here you can see the rather lovely picture.
